The data collection technique was observed and documented, and the data was observed using the Critical Discourse Analysis Technique. As triangulation, the Critical Discourse Analysis Technique employs Teun Van Dijk's theory and Habermas's Public Sphere theory. According to the findings of this research, talking news reporting on Tribunpekanbaru.com encompasses thematic, schematic, semantic, syntactic, stylistic, rhetorical, social cognition, and social analysis. This is based on the results of the data examined using Teun Van Dijk's discourse structure on the online media product Tribunpekanbaru.com. Based on Habermas' public sphere theory, it can be concluded that only two of the six news stories feature public discussion dialogues written by Tribunpekanbaru.com journalist.
