The enforcement of movement control orders (MCO) carried out as a result of the Covid19 outbreak caused the teaching and learning process in Politeknik Malaysia to be disrupted. Therefore, the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) has taken the initiative to continue the teaching and learning process through online. However, there is a difficulty for the students who will go through practical mode. Thus, the objective of this paper to produce mobile book to be used as a guide to improve theoretical knowledge. All the theories shared in this mobile book are well supported by practical activities like the mechanical engineering workshops, which would further strengthen the fundamentals for the readers. This mobile book is written to provide knowledge on CNC milling which consists of several aspects such as programming, G codes and M codes, components of the machine, procedure to produce products. This mobile book can be explore by students in Window, Android HP, iPhone and Tablet-Pad-Tab according to their gadget resolution. Therefore, it is hoped that this mobile book will benefit the readers by providing knowledge and improve their theory and machine handling skills especially the CNC Milling Machine. This mobile book would be apt for students studying Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program at Politeknik. The intended target group for this mobile book would be all the semester 4 students from the Mechanical Engineering Department who will be taking DJJ 40142 Mechanical Workshop Practice 4 course, students from semester 3 of Manufacturing program who will taking DJF 31022 Manufacturing Workshop Practice 3 course, and semester 2 students from the Mechatronic program who will be taking DJM 20022 Mechatronics workshop Pactice2 course. |
