dc.description.abstract The idea of implementing this proposed system is to manage the online education demanded in the Post Covid 19 era. 2023 eLearning Education System in Sri Lanka is the ideal solution the island would need. The education system is a vital ingredient of any country. The citizens inspired and nurtured by an effective education method would drive the country towards prosperity. The Sri Lankan government is offering a free education system for all. In 2020 and 2021, covid-19 infectious disease shattered the traditional faceto-face pedagogical echo system of the country. Hence, the nation needed to adopt online strategies to continue with general and higher education. The proposed project is focused on the general education system of Sri Lanka: This project intends to create the comprehensive online platform needed to satisfy all the Sri Lankan Education System stakeholders' total needs. Today, we all are living in the post-Covid-19 era. Hence, the online education system is a global trend and an inevitable requirement. The system is designed using UML (Unified Modeling Language) use case diagram and UML activity diagrams. The functional view of the proposed education echo system is graphically demonstrated using UML swim lane diagrams and UML activity diagrams. The study on the professional development of teachers and teacher educators in Sri Lanka (Research team led by Prof. Prasad Sethunga) provided precious guidance for the research. Singaporean TE21 standards and Australian Standards provide us with examples of effective technological tools in the global context. The quality assurance literature of Nelcon studio, developed by the University of Kelaniya, provides comprehensive guidelines for quality content assets (study material). The web link can be found at Reference [12].Software Engineering 10th Edition (Ian Sommerville) and UML in 24 hours (Joseph Schmuller) helped me understand the diagramming concepts. I was literate on UML-use-cases and activity-diagrams and other systems development tools after reading the Software Engineering books mentioned under references, including Software Engineering 10th Edition (Ian Sommerville). By referring to research papers mentioned in references, I have gained a solid understanding of epistemology and ontology of online pedagogy. The research methodology involves interviewing students, teachers, principals, officers of the education department. The feedback of all of them was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. All the interviews were done using telephone conversations and Zoom meetings. I have also done an online survey using Google Forms to analyze user preferences of eLearning tools. Fifty-two people participated in the survey. Students, parents, and teachers are the primary actors of the system. On the other hand, school principals will also actively analyze the system's progress by examining the information system. The ministry of education is the other actor who monitors the functionality of all the schools. The system is having an effective password policy controlled by the system administrator. en_US
