dc.description.abstract One of the goals of nursing is to provide safe care, and medication errors are one of the threats to patients' safety. This study aimed to determine the relationship between medication errors and nurses' work environment indicators. This is a descriptive-analytical study in which 300 nurses were enrolled in the study by randomized sampling. Data were analyzed using Pearson, Kruskal-Wallis, and independent t-tests under SPSS statistical software. The findings showed that nurses' rate of medication error was low and had a good work environment index. The correlation test results show a significant inverse relationship between workplace index and the incidence of medication error. An increasing score of the work environment index decreases the rate of medication error. The result of this study indicates that the higher the score of the workplace index, the less medication error will occur, so health officials and hospitals should improve the working conditions of medical staff in the management system of hospitals and their staff, including doctors and nurses in Try to reduce medication error. en_US
