Abstract:
After the end of the civil war in 2009, Sri Lanka has arrived at an important historical phase with highly felt need for efforts in peace-building. Among such efforts, involving the Tamil diaspora in post-war reconciliation is often identified as a significant aspect (Potters, 2010). In addition, research has shown that Tamil diaspora play an important role in shaping the discourses on post-war Sri Lanka (Asia Report N 186, 2010).
