dc.description.abstract The aim of this paper is to describe the Kanyao practices of the Kankanaeys of Benguet which is the most important unifying factor that gives a sense of community belongingness, unity, where one belongs, observing equality and respect. It has the focus of entertainment, cultural shows and festivities. This practice is also a way of identifying the tribal leaders who serve as chieftain in the community. The Kankanaeys is one of the minorities that inhabit in the southern part of the Philippines and they have this distinctive practice of Kanyao. The values derived through this practice can be adapted to unify organizational structures and strengthen harmonious relationship towards the attainment of organizational values, such as solidarity, community service, and unity for the promotion of the common good. en_US
